{"id":1358,"date":"2015-05-18T11:56:46","date_gmt":"2015-05-18T01:56:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.activitycentres.com.au\/wpsite\/?page_id=1358"},"modified":"2025-04-16T13:46:05","modified_gmt":"2025-04-16T03:46:05","slug":"committee-meetings-2015","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.activitycentres.com.au\/wpsite\/organisation-management\/committee-meetings-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"Management Committee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Management Committee<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Organisation is incorporated and managed by a team of parents who together comprise the Management Committee.<\/li>\n<li>The Committee must comprise of no less than 75% of parents with children attending our services, and up to 25% of interested people from within the community and\/or parents with children on the waiting list.<\/li>\n<li>Office bearers and Committee members are elected every year at the Annual General Meeting.<\/li>\n<li>Meetings are held at 7:00pm on Wednesday of week 5 of each term, via Teams\/ Zoom with our yearly AGM is held in person at one of our Services. (Childcare can be provided, if organised in advance)<\/li>\n<li>Although the Parent Committee manage the Organisation they must adhere to the guidelines set out for out of school hours care by the:<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facs.nsw.gov.au\/\">Department of Community and Justice <\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dec.nsw.gov.au\/\">Department of Education (DET)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dss.gov.au\/\">Department of Social Service (DSS)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/education.nsw.gov.au\/early-childhood-education\">Early Childhood education and care Directorate (ECECD)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.acecqa.gov.au\/national-quality-framework\">The National Quality Framework.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><u>Upcoming Meeting Dates<\/u><\/b><b><u><\/u><\/b> \u2013<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>* 5th March 2025 (via teams)<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>* 28th May 2025 (via teams)<br \/>\n* 20th August 2025 (via teams)<br \/>\n<strong>* 26th November 2024 &#8211; Annual General Meeting<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>If you would like to join the Parent Committee, please speak to your Service Coordinator who can help you through the process.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Please Note..<\/em> the dates and times of meetings may change if needed by the Committee to ensure we have a quorum, therefore it is advisable that you contact our Manager Jessie via email jessie@activitycentres.com.au if you would like to attend any of our meetings.<\/p>\n<p>RSVP should be at least 24 hours prior to each meeting so Jessie can inform you if there has been any changes to time or date of any meetings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Management Committee The Organisation is incorporated and managed by a team of parents who together comprise the Management Committee.
