Pendle Hill Activity Centre is located within Pendle Hill Public School, inside the old school hall, which provides us with a nice large space.
We provide before and after school care for children aged Kindergarten to Year 6 and aim to provide a fun caring space where children can spend time doing the things that they want to do, whether it’s arts and craft, playing sport, building things with blocks and Lego, or just relaxing and socialising with friends.
In addition to our large main room, we also make use of the school’s other areas such as the grass oval and basketball court, which allows the children more choice in the activities that they play.
We offer both breakfast in the mornings, consisting of toast and cereal, and afternoon tea when the children arrive after school which consists of a fruit platter and crackers.
We pride ourselves on having a child-led program in which the children choose and plan their own activities based around their interests, which gives them a voice and keeps them happy and engaged each day.
We have a dedicated team of passionate educators led by the Coordinator Lachlan, who once attended Pendle Hill Public School himself, and our experienced Educational Leader Catherine who both strive to create a fun and safe environment for children to play, learn, and thrive.
